Football Team Kits from EURO 2024 as CS2 Skins. Part 2
In the second part of our experiment comparing the football kits of national teams to skins from Counter-Strike, we focus on the designs of the team kits from the main stage of EURO 2024 and try to find similar vibes on the Steam marketplace.
Austria
- Glock-18 | Candy Apple — $0.30 – $0.66

The Austrian national team’s kit is designed in the classic colors of the national flag (red and white), but for the European Championship, a touch of black was added, likely inspired by the black eagle on their coat of arms. The home kit consists of a red top and black bottom, which immediately reminded us of the famous Candy Apple skin collection. The Glock-18 is a perfect match due to its identical color placement. For the away kit, we also achieved a 100% match with the Desert Eagle | Printstream, which features the same white and black tones. If you look closely, you’ll notice delicate light blue pearlescent stripes, similar to those on the sides of the Austrian team’s white and black kit. Admit it, who copied from whom?
Ukraine
- AK-47 | Fuel Injector — $220 – $582.49

Both kits of the Ukrainian national team look identical, differing only in the main color. The home variant is yellow, for which we chose one of the most sought-after yellow items in the game – the AK-47 | Fuel Injector. The choice was quite limited here, unlike the away kit. The away kit is completely blue with small yellow elements in the form of the number and the equipment manufacturer’s logo. We found a perfect matching skin with a similar color scheme, featuring blue as the base and decorative yellow details. It seems impossible to come up with a better pair.
Slovenia

Slovenia’s national team has already managed to break their goal drought in European Championships, which lasted 24 years. Although they previously participated only in EURO 2000, the fact remains. It is unknown if fans and players will consider this kit lucky, but it has already made its mark in history to some extent. Moving on to the comparisons with CS2 skins, for the home white kit, we focused on the series of black stripes in the middle of the shirt. These stripes reminded us of the engravings on the P250 | Whiteout, which stand out against the completely white design of the pistol. As for Slovenia’s blue kit, we found a match in the Galil AR | Stone Cold due to its deep color with several shades of blue.
Scotland
- M4A4 | The Coalition — $11.69 – $427.23
- Negev | Dazzle — $0.20 – $2.79
The home kit from the British Isles unexpectedly features dark blue, almost black colors with yellow stripes. The M4A4 | The Coalition is quite visible in the overall visual part and can be associated with the home kit. The away kit turned out to be more recognizable, but the side part of the shirt looks rather dubious. The pattern can be a bit dazzling to the eyes, and similar feelings arise when looking at the Negev | Dazzle. Hence, we decided to place an equal sign between the away kit and the Dazzle skin.
Albania

The design of the Albanian national team shirts is somewhat retro with a triangular collar like polo shirts. No patterns or decorative designs make it look quite strict but very stylish at the same time. This kit needs to be tucked into shorts to look like footballers from the past century and early 2000s. We matched this design with very similar Desert Eagle skins, which have always been compared to each other and are made in similar designs. Both items have been in the game for a long time and are considered timeless classics. Considering all the facts, we are satisfied with this combination and consider it almost without alternatives.
Spain

Spain has long stuck to its recognizable colors on the home kit, only slightly changing minor details. This is not surprising, as when your team is called “La Furia Roja” (The Red Fury), abandoning the red color would be inappropriate. For the Spanish home kit, we chose the USP-S | The Traitor, and it seems to fit quite well here: red shades in the base and gold patterns, like on the Spanish emblem. The second kit required diving into the depths of the Vanguard 2014 collection. The UMP-45 is a rare sight in games, and skins of military quality don’t get much attention. This challenge was a great reason to recall the existence of such an item on the marketplace and add it to our inventory.
Serbia

Despite having one of the top sports equipment sponsors, it feels like the designers of the Serbian national team did not put much effort into the attractive aspect. Considering that the team has qualified for a tournament of this level for the first time, it felt a bit disappointing, so we brightened their dull design with more original skins. Here, it’s all classic – matching color schemes with slightly modified, fresher shades. Various additional details would diversify the overall picture and help fans and viewers remember EURO 2024.
France

- AK-47 | Vulcan — $99.54 – $990
The 2018 World Cup champions and 2022 vice-champions have not had significant successes in European competitions for a while. Each tournament, they arrive as favorites, meaning we cannot skimp on items from Counter-Strike. Of course, we managed this quite well. The Desert Eagle | Cobalt Disruption, with its reflections and highlights, has enough white to match the main kit of the French team. The famous AK-47 | Vulcan is a splendid addition to the away kit, fitting the status of this team.
