Xyp9x to Stand In for Sycrone Duing BLAST Open Lisbon Playoffs
Andreas “Xyp9x” Højsleth will temporarily replace Dennis “sycrone” Nielsen as MOUZ’s coach during the BLAST Premier Open Lisbon 2025 Playoffs, as sycrone takes leave for personal reasons.
Xyp9x’s Return to the Competitive Scene
The four-time Major champion and former Astralis star steps into his first major coaching role, bringing his tactical expertise and clutch mentality to guide MOUZ through the playoffs.
Since leaving Astralis in 2023, Xyp9x has focused on transitioning from player to coach. His experience is expected to strengthen MOUZ’s playoff run and push for a spot in the BLAST Spring Final.
MOUZ’s Playoff Ambitions
MOUZ advanced to the playoffs after a strong group stage. Star rifler David “frozen” Čerňanský emphasized the positive impact of Xyp9x’s leadership as the team prepares for tough competition.
Sycrone is expected to return after the event, with the organization fully supporting him during his leave.
