At the moment, there are three objective team ratings: HLTV, Valve and ESL. Therefore, for now it is worth relying on the HLTV rating and hoping that Valve will put their own table in order before issuing slots for RMR.     It’s surprising to see an Asian team in the top 10 in Counter-Strike 2 in 2024, but The Mongolz deserve to be here. The team has come a long way from the tier-2 stage to compete on equal terms with European teams. Even if they don’t always succeed, they have already shown decent performances at some major tournaments. The victory at YaLLa Compass 2024 was a real breakthrough for the Asian scene and it is surprising that the new best team in this region was the Mongols, and not the Chinese. Nicolai device Reedtz feels good in the role of captain and Astralis show decent performances for the first time in several years.
