In anticipation of the first Major in CS2 history, VALVE significantly tightened the rules for accepting player signatures. Many put in a lot of effort to ensure that the final result would please fans and collectors alike. Some consulted designers, while others conducted polls among their fans, but the final decision on the appearance of each sticker remained with the developers.<\/span><\/p>

Despite the numerous problems with sticker releases, some still turned out to be very worthy and original. Before we delve into the review of the most creative autographs from the Copenhagen Major, it’s worth noting the cool appearance of the stickers themselves. Once again, we received stickers without backgrounds, and the tournament name text was neatly placed under the team logo. The shape of the stickers differs slightly from previous versions in CS:GO. They have become more voluminous, and when placed on weapons, they appear slightly larger than Paris 2023 and Stockholm 2021. The shimmering effects in the holographic versions have new shades and look much more realistic. The pattern in the glossy stickers has also changed – now star and moon patterns are clearly visible. In the end, we got really cool stickers, although the community was expecting something truly revolutionary.     This is the first sticker of Ilya “Perfecto” Zalutsky as part of the Cloud9 team. For this event, the player decided to update his sticker and make it more creative. In the CIS community, Perfecto’s nickname is distorted, and he is called a “perforator.” Ilya takes this with a smile and decided to reflect it in his new autograph. To do this, he chose an original custom font, and his nickname began to resemble that very construction tool. It turned out to be creative enough and with a touch of self-irony. A good example and excellent implementation of a popular meme that all fans and supporters appreciated. Initially, Ilya showed this sticker on his social networks and said that VALVE did not approve this option, but in the end, it still made it into the game. It is possible that the developers accidentally added this sticker, as has happened repeatedly at every Major.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

      Unlike his gameplay form, the sticker of the star player from NAVI turned out to be much more positive and interesting. After 4 rounds of the Elimination Stage, he is the worst player of the tournament with horrifying statistics. Most likely, this is the reason for the low price of the sticker on the trading platform. The iM autograph looks like a standalone emoji, and it’s quite difficult to discern the two letters of his nickname here. If you scratch the sticker and get rid of the background, it will look interesting on many skins. The new sticker placement mechanic opens up ample room for imagination and original solutions.         For the first time in his career, the Chinese player made it to the Major and did a good job with his autograph. The community appreciates stickers where, in addition to the signature itself, there are some images. The player’s nickname translates as “western melon,” which is how watermelon is called in China because it was first brought from the West. After this information, the images of watermelon become more understandable and logical. Essentially, his nickname translates to watermelon, and writing westmelon instead of watermelon is probably just a translation nuance from Chinese. Chinese fans will buy any stickers of their compatriots, so the player was creative and tried primarily for himself.             It’s absolutely unclear why VALVE employees agree to implement this guy’s ideas every Major. VINI’s stickers always stand out with original concepts and high-quality execution. The Copengahen Major collection was no exception, and we saw another beautiful idea from the Brazilian player. Many were strongly surprised by the approval of this sticker by the developers. Some participants of the event in Denmark complained that they rejected less ambitious ideas and had to give them up.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
