The long-awaited summer is here, which means it’s time to update your inventory and support the summer mood with in-game items. Summer is often associated with green, mint, and blue colors, so we based our selection on this color palette.

When choosing gloves, we primarily considered models with open fingers. Hand Wraps seemed like the best option as they look much lighter and less bulky. The pleasant Tiffany color and geometric patterns reminiscent of flowers fit perfectly into our summer concept and will serve as a foundation for combining with the other skins in the selection. Incidentally, Nemanja “huNter” Kovač played in these gloves at IEM Dallas 2024, where he became the champion with G2. It seems that the older Kovač also decided to refresh for the summer and started it with a victory at ESL’s 100th tournament.

Choosing the color scheme for the knife was quite simple, as there are hardly any alternatives for today’s theme. We then based our decision on the more suitable shape and a relatively budget-friendly price. One of the most budget-friendly knives in this selection is the Flip Knife, which is also associated with outdoor trips and campfire gatherings. Like any other Doppler, it has four phases, and to achieve the most suitable one, we recommend getting the Phase 4. In this version, it has a pleasant and quite contrasting bright transition from blue to green. Even the most expensive Emerald version (completely green) will look much worse than Phase 4.

To achieve maximum compatibility, the best decision is to add this pistol to your collection. Regarding price/quality ratio, this Glock-18 skin is one of the best in the game. You can add some variety by considering darker phases, but for synergy, it’s better to stick to the same phase as chosen for the knife. By the way, this skin was recently discussed by the entire Counter-Strike community because after one of the updates, it lost its unique green color. A cool skin that might seem overloaded with various elements, but in our opinion, it looks quite harmonious and fresh. Precisely because of its “freshness” and many suitable shades of green and blue, we chose this item. The images scattered across the entire body resemble scratched drawings on house walls or asphalt, which can only be seen in warm weather. It feels like the entire skin was drawn by a child, transporting you back to childhood when summer was especially precious. Summer is a little life.

An item from the eSports 2014 Summer Case, released as part of the Summer is Heating Up update. This alone could explain why the skin is included in our set, but it’s not the only reason. The design depicts the blooming of a tree, already associated with the spring-summer period. The design is complemented by schematic images of flowers and leaves, and we can’t overlook the perfect match with “summer shades.” For a skin that’s been in the game for about ten years, it has an incredibly low price, making it a potentially good investment. Currently, this is the only case from the eSports series that has any chance of dropping, and if Valve stops its weekly drop, its price will inevitably rise.

This item was added to the game quite recently and initially made it into our selection only because of its match with the summer colors. Then we remembered that one theory of dinosaur extinction is related to massive cooling. So, these ancient creatures can indeed be considered exclusively summer beings. It’s a bit of a stretch, but it does make some sense. In any case, the skin is very cool and costs as much as ice cream on a hot summer day. So what should stop us from buying it?

Choosing the rifle with 30 rounds wasn’t easy, but the name “In Living Color” convinced us to complete this selection with this skin. The street art-style design is filled with many elements and will resonate with everyone.
Soon, we can expect summer sales on Steam, prices should traditionally drop a bit, and you’ll be able to purchase any of these items slightly cheaper.
