On the first day, Wiktor TaZ Wojtas had to play, and already in the lower bracket the team had a chance to compete in full force, but they still did not have enough time before the start of the match with Team Vitality. The organizers accommodated G2 Esports and slightly delayed the match. Ilya m0NESY Osipov burst onto the server straight from a taxi and failed the first map, but they managed to come back at the opponent’s peak. And if it weren’t for Mirage’s permoban, who remained as a desider, G2 could have ended up in the playoffs of BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2024.

Virtus.pro has every chance to surprise
Virtus.pro arrived at BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2024 without a coach, with a team analyst acting instead. So the victory over Team Vitality looked even more sensational. Even without this factor, it turned out to be quite loud: VP lost the series with a score of 0:1, and on Dust 2 they flew 5:11, however, it was on this map that Jami Jame Ali’s team was famous for its loud comebacks back in CS:GO. Virtus.pro won their peak even without overtime, which shook the mental state of their opponents. The decisive map was completely dictated by VP, and Team Vitality deservedly went to the lower bracket.
However, Virtus.pro’s strength was not enough to resist Team Spirit. The match followed exactly the same scenario: the team lost the first map devastatingly, and on Dust 2 VP again flew 5:11 and almost completed their next comeback, but their opponents still managed to stop the return of the bears. Even despite this defeat, Virtus.pro showed an excellent performance in the group stage and has a good chance of reaching the grand final, but it will not have the opportunity to cling to the trophy. In the quarterfinals they will have to meet with Astralis, who no longer look like such a formidable opponent as they were before YaLLa Compass 2024. Virtus.pro are not the favorites in this meeting, but within the group they performed more interestingly and have a good chance of surprising their opponent and meeting in semi-final with Natus Vincere.
Natus Vincere are back?
Another failure was expected from Natus Vincere at BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2024, but the team proved that it still has the opportunity to compete with the best teams in the world. In the debut match with Astralis, the team managed to turn the tide of the match and finish the match with a score of 2:0, making a loud comeback on Nuke. It was already more difficult with FaZe Clan, but on the decider map NAVI won with a score of 5:9.
